Indian Society For Buddhist Studies

Indian Society for Buddhist Studies (ISBS) extends membership to scholars, researchers, and institutions devoted to the study and dissemination of Buddhist philosophy, literature, culture, and heritage. Membership is open to individuals and organizations who share the objectives of the Society and contribute to its academic and cultural activities.

Categories of Membership

1. Life Members
Life Membership is conferred upon eminent scholars and researchers who have demonstrated sustained commitment to Buddhist Studies. It is also extended to young scholars who have actively participated in the activities of the Society and attended at least three Annual Conferences of ISBS.

2. Donor-cum-Life Members
This category recognizes distinguished individuals or benefactors who extend financial or institutional support to the Society. Such members enjoy all privileges of Life Members, along with due acknowledgment for their contribution.

3. Annual Members
Individuals interested in participating in the academic activities of the Society may apply for Annual Membership, which remains valid for one academic session only.

4. Institutional Members
Universities, colleges, research institutes, and other academic organizations engaged in Buddhist Studies may apply for Institutional Membership to collaborate with ISBS in academic and research initiatives.
